Garbs will be moving to Florida and anyone who knows him is going to miss him as a friend to some a producer and others a mentor! Come show your respects before Garbs leaves!
In other news, Soulja Boys campaign to sell a million records during the first week release of his sophmore LP has failed miserably.
The album, isouljaboytellem, was originally projected to sell a mere 35,000 units but instead managed to move around 45,000. Prior to it's release, Soulja Boy reached out to fans and urged them to help him push a million.
He says he doesn't freestyle and that he has 3 bars? He can't even do that but all of a sudden he flows 16 no problem hmmm? recited I think whats your opinion?
Shout out to DJ Panic who runs the site and featured Jus Mic just after hearing the myspace page! The Midwest needs to come together and put in work! so go check out the article, bio, and downloads on there site! http://www.mixxbosses.com/home/
This track is fire! I know I have been tellin' everyone that GTC's "Grind til I get It" is my theme song for 09 well this is a very close second!!! If you haven't heard it you need to hear it!!
I seen this dude perform at House of Blues in Cleveland a few weeks ago he can spit! and his lay back reggae tone in a lot of his songs are raw, check him out sometime.
Jus Mic has been creating a buzz with his song "Last Day of School" which is a very deep track about that student who everyone calls a "monster" for shooting up his school. Jus Mic paints a very good and in depth picture of the teens life inside school with bully's, girls rejecting him, to not having friends, then when he goes home he has a verbally abusive mother who doesn't care about him! The song can be disturbing to people but just shows how Jus Mic can relate to people.
*Jus Mic doesn't support school shootings or violence he is trying to paint a picture!
Was Nas right when he said Hip-Hop is dead...? I think Hip-Hop isn't dead i think the the industry has taken a 180 degree turn towards watered down club hits! Which isn't completely bad except that artists like Joe Budden DO NOT get recognition for what they do and a lot of underground emcees have no love from anyone even in there own cities! Then Nas released "Hero" which was an anthem for artists to give people a person to look up to and now the state of the country is in a lot of trouble. Do not forget that we now have the first African American president ever & a Democrat is in the white house finally so Hip-Hop needs to make a positive approach to the music! Please lets save Hip-Hop!
Soulja Boy doesn't respond cause he can't!! He is not a rapper at all and Charles Hamilton has said and done enough for Soulja Boy to respond with at least a 16 Bars verse about him but nope!! Soulja Boy it is not all about having a single!!!!!!!! It's about a solid career with quality music!!!!!!!! He's a LAME!!! Charles Hamilton has nothing to worry about Soulja Boy can't end any ones career!!
I have been following this very close and Charles Hamilton is definitely doin' his thing taking shots at Soulja Boy! He is smart he is coming up as a true hip hop artist targeting a younger crowd and he is cleaning up the garbage Soulja Boy is releasing!
In an interview with Billboard, reclusive rapper Eminem has finally shed some light on his highly anticipated, upcoming album, Relapse. Saying him and Dr. Dre are “back in the lab like the old days,” Em cleared up the recent reports about working with Swizz Beatz on the project.
According to Em, the dynamic duo are back at it as Dre will be be providing the beats for most of the album.
” I don’t have chemistry like that with anyone else as far as producers go — not even close,” he said. “Dre will end up producing the majority of the tracks on Relapse. We are up to our old mischievous ways … let’s just leave it at that.”
Rhythmik & Snipez are a 2 man team of lyricists who are young and very energetic! They got on stage last night and shut it down also! they had the crowd amped! You gotta check out there hit song "Cap Rappers Heads off" They are also huge supporters/fans of Jus Mic & Goodshyt Entertainment!

Jus Mic did his thing again last night "Mover of Crowds" thats his new name!! Not really but the dude knows how to control the crowd even though people weren't throwing there hands up like on 8 mile he had everyones attention from front to back! He was told he was getting on at 11pm but we later found out it was 8:30! Which ended up being great because the place had atleast 200 people waiting for a show! Another show he killed! When will Cleveland understand this dude is on fire!
Right after the show at HOB we headed over to Ultra to kick it at the after party! It was a very good atmosphere plenty of people ready to party. When we walked in Terry Urban was killin' it on the 1's & 2's! Later in the night the legendary Mick Boogie jumped on the tables and had the crowed going from then on! We got to jump back stage and chill for a minute and watch Mick shut it down!! An awesome night to say the least on a cold bitter Thursday night in Cleveland!! I love this city!
Well Thursday night me and Karl (Jus Mic's Manager) headed to the House of Blues to see The Cool Kids & Q Tip perform! The Cool Kids had an awesome set, they really had Cleveland Amped! Then when Q Tip Hit the stage it was over!!! Doing songs off his new project that dropped on election day to older songs from A Tribe Called Quest from back in the day! All in all Cleveland showed mad love to him! He had the place jumpin' when he had everyone throw up the diamonds for Jay-Z birthday!
You can hear it here first!!!!!! Check it out on the music player!! Drastic is one of the best emcees in Cleveland and in the Midwest!! What do you all think?

I'm going to start off by saying what's good?! I am reviewing Proph The Problem a.k.a. Pro To Tha P H's LP he released back in July of 2007. Proph is a self proclaimed "real emcee" and after listening to the album you can't argue with him! I would describe his music as an original with a smooth flow! Like he says on the LP he truly is a breath of fresh air to the underground scene. Proph is an artist who refuses to conform to the mainstream flow of the music industry and you have to respect him for it! On his LP he has production work from Garbs Infinite to Yungzup from Thats Whats Zup Ent. If you get a chance to listen to this album you need to check out tracks "Let me do me", "It is what it is", and "H.E.R. name was hip hop." There are plenty more but I would end up listing the entire LP! Well let me just say that "Welcome back to hip hop" is full of good soulful beats and just a mellow flow throughout the whole CD! And if you are a person who doesn't just skim through music you will notice his extremely talented lyrical talent! Proph is making major moves in Cleveland and across the country he has worked with artists such as D. Roof, King.Dom, and Slick Watts. I am just getting hip to Proph so please check back later for more elaboration on his LP. Make sure you check him out. People like to compare him to a certain artist in the industry but I would go there because I think it takes away from his skill and lyrical content. So all the people who aren't feelin' him due to who you may think he is imitating shut up and quit hatin'!!! You all need to go check out Proph and his crew Prhymal Rage at www.myspace.com/prophtheproblem
The Huston was born in Cleveland Ohio on December 6, 1988. At the young age of 17 He was forced to leave his parents house due to dissimilar views. He began working a job in downtown Cleveland where he met Mikel Mahoney also known as Jus Mic, they both began talking about music and Hip-Hop primarily. As they grew as friends Jus Mic saw a passion in The Huston and later asked him to help with promoting him as an artist with Goodshyt Entertainment. Now a few years later The Huston has grown into a complete "Hip-Hop Addict" as he calls himself. He has spent many days, weeks, and months promoting real Hip-Hop with a meaning. He is also very passionate for artists with a purpose! He know is working hard at getting many underground artists the exposure and respect they deserve. Artists like Jus Mic, ProphtheProblem, Twizted Mind, Kayo Alcatraz, Drastic, Zup(producer), Cy Harp, Soul Kryziz, Grind Time Central, and Tha Profit. He is one of the newest members Of Prhymal Rage also where he plans on doing album reviews and to help promote the great talent that Prhymal Rage has. With The Huston it is very evident that he doesn't stand for waterdowned Hip-Hop and is trying to help find a balance in Cleveland and across the entire Hip-Hop scene!
